RevOps requires deep domain knowledge (attribution models, lifecycle stage logic, pipeline mechanics, CRM internals) and production code skills. Most people have one, not both.
When they are separate roles, the gap between strategy and execution costs time, introduces misinterpretation, and produces implementations that work technically but miss the operational intent.
